A large contingent from Saint Peter High School’s ninth grade class spent the better part of the school day on Friday, April 28 at South Central College’s annual Career Navigator event sponsored by South Central Service Cooperative.
Students were assigned to groups of about 15 to 20 and, with a chaperone, attended eight different career sessions with either representatives from area businesses/organizations who talked about careers and training in their fields or with SCC instructors who presented information to the students about training and careers in their areas.
“This is a great opportunity for our 9th grade students to see various career paths they might not have considered before,” SPHS Counselor Regina Sirianni said.
