North Elementary recently announced the winners of the "I Love to Read Month" Bookmark Contest. There were between 40 and 60 entrants for each grade and the winners were voted for by students in that grade level.
(SHOWN ABOVE) Fourth-grade bookmark winners were (l to r) Naomi Aguilar, Charley Haack, and Max Szybnski. Third-grade and second-grade winners are shown below.
The criteria for the contest were that the bookmark needed to promote reading, be creative and colorful, and show the student's best effort.
