The students from North Elementary will be performing “The Jungle Book” tomorrow (Wednesday, May 15) at 1:30 p.m. for the school and at 6 p.m. for the public in the school gym.

The show is about an orphan boy, raised by wolves, who has adventures in the jungle. The show includes numerous cast and crew from grades 2-4 (see below). The show is directed by Mr. Lenhoff (2nd grade). The set construction was guided by Ms. Kind, North's speech pathologist. Costume design and construction was headed by Mrs. Lenhoff. Other tasks aided by Max, Miles, and Emerson Lenhoff. Several parent volunteers have been on hand to help kids read their lines and construct the set.
The show was awarded a generous grant from the Prairie Lakes Art Council which allowed the group to purchase three sets of microphones and a new amplifier.
