Seth Putz earns MASMS Outstanding Educational Contributor Award

Congratulations to Seth Putz, Saint Peter Public Schools’ operations and maintenance supervisor, who was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Educational Contributor Award by the Minnesota Educational Facilities Management Professionals Association (MASMS). Putz received the award at the annual MASMS conference held on October 3.

This award is in recognition of Putz’s outstanding dedication and commitment to educational facilities management. Putz, pictured above with his plaque, began working at Saint Peter Public Schools in March 2024 after serving as the director of buildings and grounds at Lake of the Woods Public Schools (Baudette) for the previous six years.

“I was very surprised to receive this honor, and it is an affirmation of all the hard work I’ve put into my position here at Saint Peter Public Schools as well as in my previous position,” Putz said. “It’s an honor to also be recognized by an organization I’ve been very involved with over the years, including serving as past president of MASMS.”

The Minnesota Educational Facilities Management Professionals Association is a professional organization committed to promoting excellence in the operation and care of educational facilities.  It is a group of over 900 individuals in the areas of facilities/grounds/health & safety/operations for Minnesota K-12 and Higher Education organizations. It is a member-oriented, problem solving, professional group committed to facilities management.
