At a special board meeting Thursday evening (March 20), the Saint Peter School Board unanimously voted to select Dr. Jonathon Graff as the district’s next superintendent. Graff is currently the principal at Saint Peter Middle School.
“It is an honor to be selected as the next superintendent of Saint Peter Public Schools,” Graff said. “While I will miss my daily interactions with the students and staff of Saint Peter Middle School, I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving the students, staff, and families of the Saints Learning Community in this new role.”
“We are excited to enter into negotiations with Dr. Jon Graff to become the next superintendent of Saint Peter Public Schools,” Charlie Potts, Saint Peter School Board Chair, said. “Jon's proven leadership in the district gives us tremendous confidence in his ability to thrive in this new role and help Saint Peter Public Schools continue to provide an outstanding education to our children.”
“Dr. Graff is smart, ambitious, caring, and trustworthy. He's invested in our community and committed to providing a supportive environment for all students,” Potts added.
The school board will be conducting negotiations with Dr. Graff and a contract is expected to be approved by the School Board at a March 27 board meeting. The pending start date for Dr. Graff will be July 1.
