North's Arts & Academics Night 2025

North Elementary was the place to be late afternoon/early evening on Thursday (March 6) as students in grades 2-4 had their chance to showcase their skills and talents as part of the school’s annual Arts & Academics Night festivities.

The building was a busy place as several locations were used throughout to highlight the students’ works. Those activities/events taking place that night included Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Science Fair, Interest Fair, Spelling Bee, Art/STEM Collaboration Cities (4th grade), and the North Book Fair.

The annual North Spelling Bee is always a popular event in the school gym and last night was no different as a large crowd of family and friends were on hand to support this year’s participants. The top three placewinners included Mohammed Salim (1st place); Aubrey Bienfang (2nd place), and Nolan Stenzel (3rd place).

The Science Fair was also a big draw as exhibits were set up in the lower level hallway for visitors to view. North has two entries (Gus Byers and Tenly Powell/Addison Seitzer) advancing to the Elementary School Regional Science Fair at Minnesota State University (Mankato) on April 26th.
