South Elementary K-1

Congrats to the students at South Elementary as they collected 549 total items during their food drive last week (March 13-17) which will be donated to the St. Peter Area Food Shelf. The South Food Drive was done as part of the school's Star Pride program and its effort this year is to show kindness. Specifically this month, South students are "reaching out" to be kind to those outside our school, according to South teacher Stacy Abel, one of the food drive organizers. 

Mrs. Powell's class collected the highest number of items among the kindergarten classes while Mrs. Borchert's class was the top collector among the South first grade classes. Congrats to all on a job well done!
