Saint Peter High School will celebrate Snow Week starting on Monday, Jan. 29, and continue through the remainder of the week. Snow Week candidates were announced during the traditional banner drop on Thursday.
The 2024 SPHS Snow Week Queen candidates include Riley Rubischko, Kailyn Embacher, Zetta Haugen, Lauren Jacobsen, and Alex Matarrese. SPHS Snow Week King candidates include Anthony Nicolai, CeeJay King, Braxon Dale, Nabiil Jamac, and Nakiye Mercado.
The Saint Peter High School Student Council, which puts on the Snow Week festivities each year, has put together the following list of Snow Week activities/dress up days:
- Monday, Jan. 29 - Pajama Day; Pepfest after first block
- Tuesday, Jan. 30 - Dress As Your Type Day
- Wednesday, Jan. 31 - Blizzard Gear (Winter Gear or Whiteout)
- Thursday, Feb. 1 - Meme Day; Snow Week Coronation/Pepfest at 2:55 p.m. in SPHS gym
- Friday, Feb. 2 - Class Color Day;
- Saturday, Feb. 3 - Saints Booster Club-sponsored Sadie Hawkins Semi-Formal Dance at Gustavus, grades 7-8 from 6 to 8 p.m.; grades 9-12 from 9 to 11 p.m. (see attached flyer below for more details)
Clues for the annual SPHS Snow Week Winter Medallion Hunt will be shared with students each day of the week until the medallion is found.
