Members of the Saint Peter High School National Honor Society were able to use the money they raised through fundraising to create 100 care kits on Friday, Dec. 20th. In total, the NHS students raised $1,138, according to SPHS NHS advisor Regina Sirianni.

Each care kit contained a warm hat, socks, mittens, first-aid supplies, personal-care products, a few snacks, a bottle of water, and a note from an NHS member. These were donated to local shelters including Union Street Place, The REACH, Salvation Army, and Connections Shelter.
The SPHS NHS members would like to thank the following local businesses for their support of this project: Hesse Insurance Agency, Calvary Baptist Church, Autotronics of Saint Peter, Union Presbyterian Church, First National Bank, St. Peter Family Dental.
