Future Ready CTE grant

Saint Peter High School’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) training program, under the direction of Jacob Pehrson, recently received $9,500 from the South Central Service Cooperative’s Future Ready CTE Impact Grant program.

The grant funds were used by Pehrson to purchase a variety of Milwaukee brand tools and equipment that will be used by SPHS students in a variety of CTE classes offered at the school. Among the tools and equipment that were purchased includes a wide variety of tools (socket sets, screwdriver sets, pliers, etc.), tool chests, tool boxes, air compressors, jack stands, saw horses, vehicle ramps, shop vacs, power drills, sand blast cabinet and safety lights.

Pehrson found out about the grant award in the summer of 2025, and then had to provide a list of items for purchase for the school’s CTE program using those funds. Those items arrived at SPHS shortly before the holiday break.
