Saint Peter High School

Four members of the Saint Peter High School theater program are part of the Mankato Playhouse’s upcoming musical production of “SIX The Musical: Teen Edition,” (by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow) which will run during the weekends from February 21 through March 2.

SPHS performers Lyric Ruble (Catherine of Aragon) and Rebekah Roemhildt (Katherine Howard) along with understudies Melina Chadwick and Ella Twaddle are part of the “SIX” cast. However, it should be noted that all four of the SPHS students will perform on stage during the first matinee performance on Saturday, Feb. 22. The play is also being directed by 2011 SPHS alum Seth Rausch.

Per the Mankato Playhouse’s website, the synopsis for SIX is as follows: “Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st-century girl power! This new original musical is a global sensation everyone is losing their head over."
