Saint Peter Middle School students in Mrs. Panitzke’s World Cultures class picked a country from the Eastern Hemisphere to do an in-depth project which included doing research on their country of choice, making a display board about it, and presenting that to the class. The students also had to write up a paper about their country using a certain format, to learn paper presentation as well.
“We did similar projects on the Latin American countries in the fall, and I also allowed Canada this time around too since that wasn’t previously done,” Panitzke said. “I'm proud of these students for how hard they worked on their boards and their papers. I feel like this was a great project to end the year with. The boards were on display in the media center and I heard a lot of great comments from others that enjoyed reading about these countries.”
