Saint Peter Middle School’s Theater program will bring “Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” (written by Dan Zolidis) to the SPMS theatre stage on Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9 with showtimes at 7 p.m. both nights. The artistic director for this year’s SPMS play is Angela Schilling while the crew director is Maren Kind.
Admission is $6 per person, with students ages 18 and under admitted FREE of charge! The cast and crew will also stage free shows for the SPMS student body on March 6 and 7.
According to Playscripts.com, a synopsis of Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is as follows, “The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.”
