Saint Peter Middle School

Fifth and sixth grade band students from Saint Peter Middle School, under the direction of Lauren Shoemaker, hosted their March Band Concert on Tuesday evening at the SPHS Performing Arts Center.

Performing at Tuesday's concert were the First Year Band (B Day Band) and the Second Year Band (C Day Band). Each group performed four songs during the musical evening.

Per Mrs. Shoemaker, in her director's notes in the program, "March is National 'Music in Our Schools' Month. Students in these bands have been playing a variety of music to learn the indented skills in our music curriculum. Tonight you will hear melodies inspire by the Rocky Mountain National Park, Spain, the Caribbean, Norway, and a dark adventure to a mysterious land. Sit back and take a musical trip with us to places around the world!"
