Saint Peter Middle School

Saint Peter Middle School’s fifth-grade Math Masters teams made the short trek on Friday to Bethany Lutheran College to compete in a 43-team event that included 215 individual participants as well.

“Our SPMS White team of Zain Muhidin, Calloway Aguilar, Laila Butterfield, Sylvie Kuhlman, Lexi O'Konek placed 15th overall out of the 43 teams competing,” SPMS Math Masters advisor Emilie Kaus said. “We also had a few students place in the individual competition!”

Those individuals from SPMS who placed included: 

Zain Muhidin – 2nd in Fact Drill out of 215 students
Finn Koehler-Sandborg – top 20 in the Fact Drill
Sylvie Kuhlman – 7th in the Individual Round out of 215 students
