Saint Peter Middle School teacher and Saints’ varsity football coach Justin Helget and his wife, Jessica, will participate in the 2B Continued “Dancing Like the Stars” competition on Saturday, April 12 at the Glencoe City Center.
(PICTURED ABOVE) Jessica and SPMS teacher/coach Justin Helget will be part of 2B Continued's "Dancing Like the Stars" fundraiser event on April 12 in Glencoe.
“This friendly dance event is all about raising awareness and support for suicide prevention and mental health—causes that are near and dear to our hearts,” the Helgets said in a statement. “Your encouragement means the world to us as we step out of our comfort zone (and onto the dance floor!) for this important mission. Whether it’s through donations, attending the event, or simply cheering us on, your support makes a difference. Thank you for helping us shine a light on mental health awareness, and thank you for the support!”
The Helgets are raising funds for the 2B Continued organization as part of their involvement with the Dancing Like the Stars event. The public can donate on their behalf at the following link → https://shorturl.at/lxoBR
The event will feature 12 ‘STAR’ couples from Brown, Carver, McLeod, Meeker, Nicollet, Renville, Sibley, and Wright counties. They are working with a professional choreographer to learn a dance routine to participate in the friendly dance competition which raises money for the organization and awareness of its mission.
The 2B Continued organization is a non-profit group that strives to increase awareness of suicide prevention, mental health & wellness through advocacy, education and outreach. To learn more about 2B Continued please go to https://www.2bcontinued.org/.
